Daughter Of Westerner Delivers On Hurdle Debut

Sunday saw the promising Forever A Dove (5m Westerner - Drumderry, by Shernazar) make a perfect start over hurdles at Stratford.

Runner-up on her first two starts in bumpers, the Jake Thomas Coulson-trained bay was partnered by Toby Wynne on her hurdle bow and raced prominently throughout the two mile contest. Switched left to challenge approaching the final flight, she was ridden to lead on the run-in and quickened clear to win by three lengths.

The improving daughter of Westerner is owned by Kevin Dove and was bred by Paddy Kinsella.
