Party Central (Yeats) Makes A Winning Debut At Tipperary

Daughter Of Yeats Impresses On Debut

Party Central (4f Yeats - Itsalark, by Definite Article) shaped like a smart prospect when making a winning debut in Sunday’s four-year-old fillies’ bumper at Tipperary.

Jamie Codd held the bay up towards the back of the field and began to improve his position from four furlongs out, making headway to lead after the two furlong pole. Staying on strongly, Party Central won by four lengths from Magical Orla (Flemensfirth).

Speaking after the race, Jamie Codd said, “She's a lovely filly for the Motherway family and was ready for today. She's going to improve, as her pedigree would suggest, and she's only a four-year-old.”

Trained by Roger McGrath for Mrs EM Motherway, Party Central was bred by Frank Motherway and Kevin Curtin. The daughter of Yeats becomes a third winner out of the mare Itsalark; herself an impressive winner of her sole start in a bumper.
