Debut Four-Year-Old Winner For Getaway

The Aidan Fitzgerald-trained Nadia’s Boy (4g Getaway – Just Janice, by King’s Theatre) made a perfect start to his career in the second division of Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Ballysteen.

Troy Walsh settled the son of Getaway towards the back of the field and began to improve from three out. Taking second after the penultimate fence, he led after the last and kept on well to win by two and a half lengths.

The promising four-year-old was bred by Niall Flynn.
