Dream Start Continues For Walk In The Park’s First Irish Crop
Walk In The Park’s first Irish four-year-olds continued to impress on Thursday, when Enda Bolger unveiled Dreamsrmadeofthis (4f Walk In The Park - Upsie, by Le Balafre) in the fillies maiden hurdle at Cork.
The bay jumped well throughout under Mark Walsh, who asked her to quicken from four out and produced a challenge at the penultimate flight. Soon in front, she was pushed out on the run-in to win by four and a half lengths comfortably.
“Everything comes very easy to her,” Bolger said after the race. “I think that's her ground because she's such a great jumper; she's like a stag. Obviously we're learning the whole time but you'd have to be mad about that.”
Dreamsrmadeofthis is owned by JP McManus and was bred by Noreen McManus; the same connections responsible for the impressive Limerick Lace, who kicked off a treble by Walk In The Park four-year-olds at Punchestown ten days earlier.
