€78,000 session topper for Milan

A Milan half-brother to this year’s G1 Cheltenham Champion Bumper hero Fayonagh headed a fantastic week for the Grange Stud sire at the Tattersalls Ireland November Sale when realising €78,000.

Bred by Paramount Farms and offered by Galbertstown Stud, the April-born youngster headed trade at the Fairyhouse venue on Wednesday when selling to Catherine Magnier of Grange Stud, who saw off Michael Tallon.

On a good day for Milan, Kevin Ross spent €50,000 on a colt out of the Listed-placed Francesca, a half-sister to the 2016 G1 RSA Chase hero Blaklion offered by Gerard Mullins from Ballyduane Stud.
