Game Son Of Yeats Delivers On Debut
James Jet (5g Yeats - Givehertime, by Commanche Run) showed a willing attitude when making a winning debut in the five-year-old geldings maiden at Lingstown on Sunday.
Ridden to chase the leaders by Johnny Barry, the Daniel Murphy-trained newcomer was asked to quicken approaching the second last and led soon after. Headed early in the straight, he battled back to regain the advantage on the run-in and kept on well to score by two and a half lengths.
James Jet is owned by the Connery Racing Partnership and was bred by Jarlath O’Dwyer.
