Getaway Gelding Scores On Rules Debut

Count Of Vendome (4g Getaway – Our Katie, by Dr Massini) made a smart start for Donald McCain in Sunday’s bumper at Sedgefield.

Partnered by Brian Hughes on rules debut, the grey raced prominently throughout and was ridden to lead a furlong from home. Keeping on well close home, he went on to score by four and a half lengths.

Owned by TG Leslie, the son of Getaway was bred by Pat and Eddie Barry.
