1-2 for Milan at Listowel

John J Walsh’s charge chased the leaders for much of the two mile contest, moving into a close second three from home and was travelling well when improving to dispute the lead at the next flight. Asserting soon after, he ran on well to win by three parts of a length, as Lakemilan (Milan) ran on to take second.
Victorious in a valuable flat contest at Killarney last time out, Davids Charm was unlucky when finishing fourth the Galway Hurdle on his prior start and has now earned over €220,000 for owner TA O’Brien.
A full-brother to three-time winner Terry The Fish (Milan), Davids Charm was bred by Grange Stud, where his sire Milan stands for a fee of €8,000.
