Impressive Double For Son Of Walk In The Park

Minella Plus (4g Walk In The Park - Violin Davis, by Turgeon) recorded back-to-back hurdle wins in fine style at Catterick on Friday.

A six length winner of another novice hurdle last month, the Donald McCain-trained bay stepped up trip to two miles and three furlongs at Catterick. Once again making all under Brian Hughes, he went clear from the third last and kept on well to win by seven and a half lengths.

Minella Plus has won or been placed on all his starts for owners Miss C McCracken and B Ryan-Beswick. The son of Walk In The Park was bred by Kieran Cotter.
