Improving Son Of Ocovango Gets Off The Mark

The promising Rambo T (5g Ocovango - Biddy’s Boru, by Brian Boru) gained a deserved maiden success in Tuesday’s bumper at Fontwell.

The son of Ocovango was bought by Olly Murphy after a narrow defeat in a four-year-old maiden for Shane O’Brien and went on to be placed in two bumpers for MPB Contractors Ltd. Sent off favourite on Tuesday, he raced in mid-division for much of the way and improved to lead two furlongs from home. Keeping on well when asked, he scored by two lengths under Aidan Coleman.

Rambo T becomes the first winner bred by Gavin Dower out of Biddy’s Boru, who hails from the family of Attitude Adjuster.
