Jezki returns with G3 win for Milan

The 2014 G1 Champion Hurdle hero Jezki (9g Milan-La Noireby Phardante) began his new season on the best possible note when coasting home in the G3 Istabraq Hurdle at Tipperary on Sunday. J P McManus’s son of Milan, bred by Gerard McGrath, was never pushed to score by four lengths in the hands of Mark Walsh. "That was fantastic and great to come here early in the year and see how he was. He just seems to have got back his old spark. He never really got it back last year, I don't know why, but he has had a good summer and seems well in himself,” said trainer Jessica Harrington. "He did it hands and heels there and he surprised me as I thought he'd blow up. He has class and class won it for him at the end of the day.”
