Mahler Mare Adds Another Smart Win To Fine Record

Lightening Mahler (6m Mahler – All Eyes On Me, by Catcher In The Rye) returned with an impressive win on Monday to record a third win from four career starts.

The Mahler mare made a smart debut for Benny Walsh at Dromahane and went on to make a successful start under rules for Dan Skelton in January. She was sent off favourite for the mares’ novices hurdle at Huntingdon and was ridden to make all by Harry Skelton. Pushed clear approaching the second last, she drew further clear on the run-in to lead by 11 lengths on the line.

Bred by Sean Osborne, the progressive mare is owned by Craig and Laura Buckingham.
