Milan Mare Delivers On Debut

The Helen O’Connor bred, owned and trained newcomer Little Token (4m Milan - Special Token, by Witness Box) won the Four-Year-Old Mares Maiden at Ballyarthur on Sunday.

Ridden towards the back of the field by Shane Baragry, the bay made headway to take second two fences from home and led before the final fence. She was ridden out to beat fellow newcomer Castlegrace Rose (Oscar) by a length, as Methodtothemagic (Sans Frontieres) stayed on for third.

Little Token is the first winner out of the mare, a four-time winner who was also placed at Grade 3 level.
