Milan Mare Dominates At Templenacarriga
The Colin Bowe-trained mare Streets Of Fire (5m Milan - Flaming Brandy, by Be My Native) outclassed her rivals when taking the Tattersalls Ireland Five-Year-Old Mares Maiden at Templenacarriga on Sunday.
A close second in a competitive contest at Boulta in December, she was sent off favourite under Barry O’Neill. Leading from the start, she fought off a challenge before the second last and went three lengths clear before the final fence, running on to score by 10 lengths on the line. The Batt O’Connell-trained Trick N’Trump (Fame And Glory) finished second on debut.
Streets Of Fire is owned by Thomas Cloke and was bred by Jill Farrell.
