The Gingrin (Milan) winning at Bellharbour

Milan Mare Fetches Six Figure Sum

Impressive debut winner Thegingrin (5m Milan - Niamh’s Away, by Presenting) became the highest priced mare offered at Friday’s Tattersalls Cheltenham sale when selling to Joey Logan, Gordon Elliott and Andy Brown for £115,000.

The Ger Lawless-trained bay looked the likely winner from two out at Belharbour and went on to score by eight lengths with ease. The manner of that success bodes well for her four-year-old full-brother, who sold to Kieran McManus at the Goffs Land Rover Sale for €62,000. It’s also an important update for her two-year-old brother by Walk In The Park and yearling brother by Capri.
