More Point-to-Point Incentive Winners!

Following the weekend point-to-point action, four more breeders are in line for €1,000 credits which can be offset against nominations to any Coolmore N.H. stallion this breeding season.

First up at Tyrella on Saturday, was Sebastian Curran who owned and bred the first-time-out 5YO Mares Maiden winner Squiggles (Soldier of Fortune). The Christopher Timmons-trained mare hit the front on the run to the last before going on to score by a comfortable six lengths in the hands of Joey Dunne.

The first division of the 5YO Geldings Maiden at the same venue was won by the Amanda Lindsell-bred Ballybrittas, trained by Caroline McCaldin for William Dennison.

Meanwhile the Stonehall Harriers meeting at Cragmore yesterday saw a first and second race double for Milan. The 5YO Mares Maiden was won by the John & Kevin Power-bred Boombox Baby who scored in good style for owner/trainer Matthew Flynn O’Connor.

The 5YO Geldings Maiden contained a number of well-touted newcomers and was won by the Pat McGrath-bred debutant Clondaw General trained by Michael Goff. Both Boombox Baby and Clondaw General are now set to be sold.

Under this new incentive, further credits will be due to any breeder of an open 4YO or 5YO only Irish Point-to-Point Maiden during the 2024 spring season sired by a Coolmore N.H. stallion past or present.
