Shes Some Doll (Yeats) Wins The Maiden Hurdle At Limerick

More To Come From Yeats Mare After Maiden Hurdle Win

The Gavin Cromwell-trained Shes Some Doll (5m Yeats - Rudy Renata, by Rudimentary) stayed on well to beat the boys in Tuesday’s maiden hurdle at Limerick.

Racing over two miles and three furlongs, the bay chased the leaders under Jonathan Moore and made headway from three out. Improving into second at the penultimate flight, she led at the last and ran on well to win by two and three quarter lengths from the favourite Boomtown Girl.

Speaking after the race, assistant trainer Feidhlim Cunningham said, “Her jumping is an asset and she stays well. Jonny thinks she might like some nicer ground so there could be another day in her.”

Owned by the Ever Optimistic Syndicate, Shes Some Doll was bred by Stephen Curran.
