Newcomer Continues Fine Run For Walk In The Park
Connections will now seek black-type with Eabha Grace (4f Walk In The Park - Myska, by Presenting), after the short-priced favourite made a winning debut in the mares’ bumper at Thurles on Saturday.
Chasing the leaders under Jody Townend, the Willie Mullins-trained bay travelled well when leading from two furlongs out. Drawing clear entering the final furlong, she kept on strongly to win by six and a half lengths.
Speaking after the race, Mullins said, “She is a good mare and has a nice pedigree. We'll look at the mares' bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival and try and get black-type and see how far she can go.”
Raced by the John Battersby Racing Syndicate, Eabha Grace was bred by Kenneth Parkhill.
