Meanwhile, at Bandon, Global Focus (5g Milan - Dylans Star, by Definite Article) made a bright start to his career by taking the five-year-old maiden at Bandon.

Matty Collins’s charge raced towards the back of the field and began to improve from four out under Brian Dunleavy. Asserting approaching the final fence, he kept on well to win by three and a half lengths.

The son of Milan is owned by Bridget Collins and was bred by Mrs Adrienne and P.J. Lalor.
