Pauling has G1 target for easy Walk In The Park winner
Trainer Ben Pauling has never hidden the high regard in which he holds Nestor Park (5g Walk In The Park-Cila, by Saint Preuil) and the five-year-old is set for a step up in grade after his runaway win at Warwick on Thursday.
The son of Walk In The Park, an Ascot bumper winner last season. stormed five lengths clear of his opponents in a 17-runner maiden hurdle under Nico de Boinville to the delight of connections.
“He loves this ground and we have always thought a lot of him and had big races in mind, like the G1 Challow Hurdle and then possibly back to Warwick for the G2 Leamington Spa Hurdle,” said Pauling.
