Promising Pair Lead Home 1-2 For Mahler

Timesareachanging (5g Mahler – Numero Huit, by Robin Des Champs) took a step forward on his seasonal return to lead home a 1-2 for Mahler in the five-year-old geldings maiden at Killeagh.

Colin Bowe’s charge was sent off favourite on his third start and raced prominently throughout under Bertie Finn. After producing fine leaps at the final two fences, the chesnut kept on well on the run-in to beat For One Night Only (Mahler) by three parts of a length.

Timesareachanging is a half-brother to Major Fortune (Soldier Of Fortune), who has won his last two starts over hurdles. Bred by Noel O’Brien, the pair have a yearling brother by Santiago.
