Presenting Mahler (Mahler) winning a bumper at Limerick

Smart bumper winner for Mahler

Presenting Mahler (4f Mahler-Oddly Presented, by Presenting) became Mahler’s first winner under Rules on Sunday when winning an 11-runner bumper at Limerick (pictured on right). Trained by John Ryan and ridden by his daughter Gillian, the Thomas Meagher-bred filly came home half a length clear of the field and connections feel she has a good future. “She is a very smart and very good filly and hopefully can build on this,” Gillian Ryan told irishracing.com. Mahler, who has already sired point-to-point winners, was a top-class staying son of Galileo on the Flat.
