Soldier Of Fortune Four-Year-Old Draws Clear On Debut

The Sean Doyle-trained newcomer Obey The Order (4g Soldier Of Fortune – Chesapeake, by Network) proved a class above his rivals in Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Curraghmore.

Settled in mid-division by Jamie Scallan, he improved to lead at the second last and boasted a clear advantage by the final flight. Keeping on well on the run-in, he led by eight and a half lengths on the line.

A return to the sales is now on the cards for Obey The Order, who is the first foal bred by Drumlin Bloodstock out of the mare Chesapeake.
