Soldier Of Fortune Newcomer Draws Clear At Tyrella

Squiggles (5m Soldier Of Fortune – Lunar Gift, by Presenting) produced a smart debut performance to win the five-year-old mares maiden at Tyrella on Saturday.

The Chris Timmons-trained newcomer was partnered by Joey Dunne and began to make good headway from two out. Keeping on well, the bay led before the final fence and went on to score by six lengths.

Owned and bred by Sebastian Curran, Squiggles is a half-sister to four-year-old maiden winner Alden (Walk In The Park). Their dam Lunar Gift has a three-year-old and yearling by Maxios.
