Son Of Getaway Overcomes Inexperience To Win Bumper
There should be more to come from Got A Dream (5g Getaway – Well Composed, by Bach) after running out a comfortable winner of Wednesday’s bumper at Huntingdon.
Nicky Martin’s charge was making his second career start, having been absent since October, and raced in touch for much of the way under David Noonan. Leading from four furlongs out, the bay showed signs of inexperience two furlongs from home and was ridden a furlong later. The son of Getaway kept on well thereafter to win by two and a quarter lengths.
Got A Dream is owned by the Bradley Partnership and was bred by Eoghan Loughin. His dam has a two-year-old by Vadamos and yearling by Maxios yet to run.
