Son Of Mahler Scores On Stable Debut
Shadow Chaser (5g Mahler – Myshall Annie, by Shantou) drew clear to make a winning start for John Gleeson in Sunday’s five-year-old maiden at Kildorerry.
The son of Mahler was well-supported ahead of his stable debut and raced in mid-division for much of the way under Ray Barron. Improving behind the leaders with three to jump, he led from the second last and kept on well to win by nine lengths, with another ten lengths back to the third.
Shadow Chaser becomes the first winner bred by Liam Kavanagh out of Myshall Annie.
