Son Of Milan Justifies Strong Market Support On Debut
Pricey store sale purchase Onethreefivenotout (4g Milan - Back To Loughadera, by Bob Back) led home a 1-2 for Grange Stud sires in Wednesday’s bumper at Worcester.
The Paul Nicholls-trained newcomer was sent off favourite under Harry Cobden and raced prominently throughout the two mile contest. Producing a serious challenge two furlongs from home, he led inside the final furlong and was ridden out to win by a length and a quarter. Previous bumper winner Lady Jane P (Walk In The Park) claimed runners-up honours.
Purchased by his trainer and Tom Malone as a three-year-old for €150,000, Onethreefivenotout runs in the colours of the Stewart family. The son of Milan was bred by the late JJ Harty.
