Son Of Milan Rallies For Chase Debut Success
Premiumaccess (5g Milan - De Loose Mongoose, by Phardante) made a successful start over fences when leading home a 1-2 for Grange Stud sires in the Novices’ Handicap Chase at Huntingdon.
Racing over two and a half miles, Colin Tizzard’s charge led the field under Harry Cobden and was pushed along from the third last. Briefly headed by Rob The Getaway (Getaway), he was ridden approaching the second last and kept on well to score by a length on the line, with the pair drawing eight lengths clear of the field.
Owned by Taylor and O’Dwyer, Premiumaccess was purchased after winning a four-year-old maiden for Colin Bowe. The son of Milan was bred by John McDowell out of an own-sister to Grade 2 performer Pharbeitfrome.
