Son Of Soldier Of Fortune Delivers On Debut
Pulling Stumps (4g Soldier Of Fortune - Pride Of The Braid, by Kayf Tara) justified strong market support on debut to land Sunday’s bumper at Ludlow.
Mel Rowley’s charge faced three previous winners in the two mile contest and was ridden to track the leaders by Alex Edwards. Ridden approaching the two furlongs marker, he led entering the final furlong and kept on well to win by a length, with over three lengths back to the third.
Owned by Philip Rowley and bred by Brucetown Farms, Pulling Stumps continues the terrific start made by Soldier Of Fortune’s latest crop of four-year-olds.
