Big Cadillac (4g Soldier Of Fortune – Askrosy, by Flemensfirth) continued Pat Doyle’s fine run of form when making a winning debut at Nenagh on Sunday.

The Soldier Of Fortune gelding was sent off favourite for the four-year-old maiden and soon settled in third by Pa King. He improved to lead after the third last and kept on well on the run-in to win by two and a half lengths. King Of Thieves (Flemensfirth) claimed runners-up honours, while House Of Habsburg (Order Of St George) took third.

Big Cadillac was bred by Jemm Farming Ltd out of a full-sister to talented chaser Abolitionist (Flemensfirth). Grade 1 winner Minella Cocooner (Flemensfirth) also appears under the second dam.
