Seabank Bistro (Walk In The Park) Makes An Impressive Debut At Naas

Son Of Walk In The Park Cruises Clear At Naas

Seabank Bistro (5g Walk In The Park - Sigh Of Relief, by Old Vic) shaped like an exciting prospect when running out an impressive winner of Sunday’s bumper at Naas.

The Willie Mullins bred and trained newcomer was well-supported for the two mile and three furlong contest, but showed signs of inexperience at times under Patrick Mullins. His talent became clear as he cruised into contention from two furlongs out and led approaching the final furlong. Soon clear, he scored by five lengths from the more experienced favourite Santonito, with a gap of 28 lengths back to the nearest of their 13 rivals.

There should be plenty more to come from the winner, with his breeder/trainer later describing him as “a big, green horse.” Mullins continued, “I think he can go wherever he wants after today and you'd imagine he'll get a ticket for Cheltenham.”
