Son Of Walk In The Park Excites On Debut

The Gordon Elliott-trained Ginto (4g Walk In The Park - Tina Rederie, by Cadoudal) announced himself as an exciting prospect when running out a 12 length winner of the Four-Year-Old Maiden at Tattersalls On Sunday.

Partnered by Jamie Codd, the newcomer chased the leaders and produced a challenge at the second last, improving to lead after the last. Drawing clear on the run-in, he won unchallenged.

From the final French crop of Grange Stud recruit Walk In The Park, Ginto was bred by S Berger and sold to Mags O’Toole for €60,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale.
