Final Demand (Walk In The Park) Wins On Debut At Lingstown

Son Of Walk In The Park Lives Up To Expectations On Debut

Final Demand (5g Walk In The Park – Zuzka, by Flemensfirth) shaped like a smart prospect when running out commanding winner at Lingstown on Sunday.

Matthew Flynn O’Connor’s newcomer was sent off favourite for the five and six-year-old geldings maiden, and tracked the leaders for much of the way under Brian Lawless. The bay improved to dispute before the second last and asserted soon after, going on to score by six lengths.

A return to the sales ring is now on the cards for Final Demand, who was bought by his handler with Joey Logan at the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale for €230,000. The son of Walk In The Park was bred by Kenneth Parkhill out of the dual Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 third Zuzka (Flemensfirth).
