Son Of Walk In The Park Makes Light Of Bumper Win
Hemlock (4g Walk In The Park - He Said She Said, by Presenting) became the latest Walk In The Park four-year-old to make an impression when running out a comfortable winner of the two mile bumper at Perth.
Making his first start for the Robert Widger stable, the bay raced in midfield under Daryl Jacob and was travelling well when making headway on the turn for home. Shaken up to lead over two furlongs from home, he went clear approaching the final furlong and scored by three and a quarter lengths with minimum fuss.
Bred by Aiden Murphy, Hemlock finished a promising fifth on debut for Willie Mullins in April and now races for Alberta Capital Ltd. He is the first foal bred by Aiden Murphy out of He Said She Said, whose Flemensfirth colt sold for €50,000 in November.
