Son Of Walk In The Park Shines At Tattersalls

Exciting prospect Master Chewy (4g Walk In The Park - Shake The Tree, by Shantou) will continue his promising career with Nigel Twiston-Davies after selling for £300,000 at Friday’s Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale.

Willie Twiston-Davies signed for the bay, with his father later revealing their purchase was made on behalf of Anne-Marie and Jamie Shepperd. “We're very excited about him,” the trainer commented. “The race he ran in looked like a good race and we'll hope he's the best of them! He'll probably run in a bumper but we'll get him home and have a think about where we'll go with him.”

The son of Walk In The Park had caught the eye on debut last week when finishing a close third in a hot maiden at Tattersalls for Pat Doyle and owner Paul Hennessy.

Pat Doyle landed a Curraghmore maiden with newcomer Nicky Rockett (Walk In The Park) last month and the runner-up of that race, Camulus (4g Walk In The Park - Gaye Future, by Beat All) sold for £105,000 on Friday evening.

Christian Williams and Gwent Holdings signed for the half-brother to Irish Grand National victor Freewheelin’ Dylan, who was trained by Denis Hogan for Pam Halley.
