Son Of Westerner Blows Them Away On Debut
Teeshan (4g Westerner - Miss Pepperpot, by Winged Love) emerged as an exciting prospect when running out a wide margin winner of Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Loughanmore.
Ger Quinn’s newcomer led the field under Noel McParlan and had his rivals under pressure from some way out. He boasted an eight length advantage by the second last and was never challenged as he drew 41 lengths clear by the line.
Teeshan is owned by PJ McBurney, who bought the bay last summer for €62,000. The exciting son of Westerner was bred by Seamus Moore out of Miss Pepperpot, who has a yearling colt by Maxios.
