Son Of Westerner Defies Penalty In Good Style

Bowtogreatness (6g Westerner - Miss Baden, by Supreme Leader) recorded back-to-back wins in some style on Tuesday, when drawing clear in the Novices’ Hurdle at Leicester.

Ben Pauling’s charge carried a penalty for last month’s success, but made most of the running in the two and a half mile contest. Jumping well throughout, he extended his advantage on the run-in to score by eight and a half lengths.

Owned by Harry Redknapp and Sophie Pauling, Bowtogreatness was previously placed in two bumpers. The progressive son of Westerner was bred by John McDonald.
