Son Of Yeats Comes Out On Top In Thrilling Finish

Promising newcomer Conceroe (4g Yeats - Made In KK, by Kris Kin) prevailed in a thrilling finish to the two mile bumper at Warwick on Thursday afternoon.

Ridden prominently by Bryan Carver, the Ben Case-trained four-year-old was ridden to lead approaching the final furlong and although briefly headed, kept on well to win by a neck. Nicky Henderson’s even-money favourite Captain Morgs (Milan) was another to make a smart debut, as he claimed runners-up honours.

Owned by Lady Jane Grosvenor, Conceroe was bred by J and J Lawler and is closely related to three-time winner Stick With Bill (Oscar).
