Son Of Yeats Delivers On First Attempt
The Lucy Wadham-trained Taras Halls (5g Yeats - Brixen, by Heron Island) made a smart start to his career in Friday’s two mile bumper at Huntingdon.
Racing in touch under Bryony Frost, the son of Yeats led from three furlongs out and was pushed along a furlong later. Keeping on well inside the final furlong, he prevailed by a length and a quarter on the line, with another four and three quarter lengths back to the third horse.
Taras Halls is owned by breeder Tom Ford with R Peters. The same connections also own his half-sister Terresita (Westerner), who has won three times over hurdles.
