Son Of Yeats Goes One Better In Bumper

Ginny’s Destiny (6g Yeats - Dantes Term, by Phardante) built on a promising debut to justify favouritism in Saturday’s bumper at Chepstow.

The Tom Lacey-trained bay found only Altobelli (Maxios) too good earlier this year and seemed to enjoy making all of the running on his second start. Pushed along from two furlongs out, he won by four and a half lengths comfortably under William Kennedy.

Owned by Gordon and Su Hall, the son of Yeats was bred by Mrs Caroline O’Driscoll and is closely related to top-class chaser God’s Own (Oscar).
