Son Of Yeats Wins Four-Year-Old Maiden On Debut
Banter At The Bar (4g Yeats – J’Y Vole, by Mansonnien) produced a smart debut performance to win Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Portrush.
Settled in midfield by Jamie Scallan, Sean Doyle’s newcomer began to make headway from two out and joined the leader soon after. Leading before the final fence, he kept on well on the run-in to win by two and a quarter lengths.
The son of Yeats was bred by Paul Murphy.
