Fiddaun winning at Lisronagh

Three More Point-to-Point Incentive Winners

Following the weekend’s point-to-point action, three more breeders are in line for €1,000 credits which can be offset against nominations to any Coolmore N.H. stallion this breeding season.

At Lisronagh yesterday the well-supported Fiddaun (Getaway), bred by Tim Hegarty, made a winning debut in the 4YO Geldings Maiden. Trained by John Staunton the four-length winner was ridden by Derek O’Connor who also saddled two in the race.

At Kildorrery the same afternoon, the Liam Kavanagh-bred Shadow Chaser (Mahler) landed the 5YO Geldings Maiden by nine lengths on his first start since joining the John Gleeson stable.

And at Punchestown on Saturday Additional Time (Milan), bred by Drumlin Bloodstock, won the 5YO Geldings Maiden for Matthew Flynn O’Connor. “Catching the eye towards the end of the back straight, he had far too much pace for his rivals as he demonstrated when powering around them on the run to the second-last,” reported P2P.ie. “He looks a smart prospect.”
