Lady Kluck (Walk In The Park) winning a p2p at Bartlemy

Three More Point-to-Point Incentive Winners

Three more qualifiers for the Coolmore N.H. Sires Point-to-Point incentive over the weekend brought the total for the year to 53.

The 4YO Mares Maidens at Bartlemy and Loughrea on Sunday were both won by first-time-out daughters of the newly-crowned Champion Sire Walk In The Park. The Donnchadh Doyle-trained Lady Kluck, bred by Bernard & Owen Cloney’s Headfield Farm Ltd out of a half-sister to Captain Chris, scored at the United Hunt fixture while brother Sean Doyle saddled Hard Dealt, bred by Martin Doyle, to win at the Galway Blazers meeting.

At Toomebridge on Saturday the first division of the 5YO Geldings Maiden saw Getaway Vic (Getaway), bred by Mr & Mrs Richard & Nora Furlong, score by seven lengths for handler Gerald Quinn. “A smart sort who could hold a bright future on the track,” reported p2p.ie.
