Two More Point-to-Point Incentive Winners
The 4YO Maidens at Tallow and Comea on Sunday were both won by Coolmore N.H. Sired runners entitling their breeders to €1,000 credits which can be offset against nominations to any Coolmore N.H. stallion this breeding season.
Idaho Valley (pictured), from the first crop of Idaho and the first 4YO runner of the season for Ellen Doyle was bred by William McCarthy and his father Pat. William is a National Hunt jockey in Australia taking after his uncles Tom, Johnny & Jim Lombard three extremely talented point-to-point jockeys of yesteryear. Idaho Valley hails from the Lombard’s renowned Cab On Target/Glenelly Gale family.
The Vinny Burke-bred Youdecide was the latest first-time-out 4YO winner for Mahler. Trained by Pat Doyle he, like Idaho Valley, is likely to be sold in the near future.
