Useful Son Of Yeats Lands Maiden Hurdle

Conceroe (5g Yeats - Made In KK, by Kris Kin) appeared to appreciate a step up in trip when landing Sunday’s maiden hurdle over two and a half miles at Fakenham.

The dual bumper winner finished a promising third on his first start over hurdles earlier this month and was sent off favourite at the weekend. Racing prominently throughout under Jack Quinlan, Ben Case’s representative dug deep to lead close home and score by half a length on the line.

Owned by Lady Jane Grosvenor, the son of Yeats was bred by J and J Lawler.
