Walk In The Park Filly Storms Clear On Debut
Pink In The Park (4f Walk In The Park - Pink Hat, by Presenting) emerged as an exciting prospect on Friday when running out a wide margin winner of the mares’ bumper at Listowel.
Sent off a short-priced favourite under Paddy Mullins, the Willie Mullins-trained mare was travelling with ease approaching two furlongs out and switched wide to lead soon-after. Running on strongly, she drew 14 lengths clear on the line.
Speaking after the race, the winning trainer said, “She could be a bit special that one. She had been working well and brought it to the race track today. She is a fine mare and we'll look for some Listed bumpers with her now.”
Owned and bred by Mrs Jackie Mullins, Pink In The Park hails from the first Irish crop of Grange Stud sire Walk In The Park.
