Walk In The Park In Vogue At Goffs Land Rover Sale
Following a terrific season between the flags and on the track, demand was high for Walk In The Park’s progeny at the Goffs Land Rover Sale, with six selling for over €100,000.
Ian Ferguson set the tone on Day 1, when giving €120,000 for Monanore Stables’ half-brother to Invitation Only (Flemensfirth). MV Magnier and Linda Shanahan paid the same price the following day for Lakefield Farm’s Walk In The Park son of Grade 3 winner Greenhall Rambler.
Earlier that day, Glenvale Stud’s Walk In The Park gelding was knocked down to Tom Cooper for €115,000, while Ralahine Stud’s bay brought €105,000 from Mags O’Toole.
Kieran Shields also enjoyed a fine result when his €45,000 foal purchase was sold by Stone Lodge Stud to Paddy Redmond for €110,000.
