Miss Pronunciation (Walk In The Park) Wins The Rated Novice Hurdle At Fairyhouse

Walk In The Park Mare Completes Hat-Trick In Style

Miss Pronunciation (7m Walk In The Park – Adarma, by Topanoora) produced further improvement on Wednesday to complete a hat-trick of wins in the Rated Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

The Padraig Roche-trained mare won her first two starts this season and carried joint top-weight in her bid to make it three in a row. Ridden prominently by Mark Walsh, she was travelling strongly when leading after the second last and soon drew clear. She ran on well to beat the favourite Lazer Wolf (Getaway) by six lengths.

Speaking after the race, the winning trainer said, “That was great, she did it well. She's starting to settle a lot better than she was and I'd say that's bringing out the improvement in her. She's improving the whole time.”

The daughter of Walk In The Park is owned by JP McManus and was bred by Mrs Noreen McManus.
