Walk In The Park Mare Impresses On Stable Debut
Walk In Clover (5m Walk In The Park - Bridgequarter Girl, by Presenting) made an impressive start for new connections when bolting up in the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Leicester on Tuesday.
The daughter of Walk In The Park was purchased privately after finishing second in a similar contest for Tom Weston and was sent off favourite on her first start for Dan Skelton. Making all the running under Harry Skelton, she went clear from two out and won by 20 lengths in utterly effortless fashion.
Walk In Clover was bred by Kevin Neville out of a winning half-sister to Grade 2 performer Shannon Bridge (Flemensfirth).
