Walk In The Park Mare Strikes Late In Listed Chase

Golden Park (7m Walk In The Park – Goldnella, by Goldneyev) recorded her second black-type success in Sunday ‘s Listed Prix du Comte de Nice at Cagnes-Sur-Mer.

The Seror-trained bay was held up at the back of the field by Sarah Boulet and had just two rivals behind her as the field approached the turn for home. She quickened to chased the leaders soon after and leapt into second at the final fence, finishing strongly to lead close home.

Sunday marked an eighth career win for golden Park, whose career-best came when winning a Grade 3 hurdle at Auteuil. The daughter of Walk In The Park was bred by Mat Daguzon-Garros.
